Well worth the upgrade
Replaced two of the original 1500 GPH pumps that came with my 18 ft. Intex pool, and finally decided to spend the extra money to upgrade to this 4000 GPH pump.

This pump may be too good
This pump is definitely better than the model 635 that came with my pool but there are a few things you should be aware of.

This is not a toy, it is a pool filter – wrong catagory
This pump works so well. I would recommend it to anyone who owns a large Intex Easy Set Pool – don’t even bother with the one that comes with it.

Powerhorse of a pump
This pump works amazing with my 18′X48″ metal frame pool. The 1500GPH one that came with the pool was useless and algae and sediment were constantly cycling through the filter…

Intex 4000 Gallon Filter Pump works great on 18×48 pool. Save yourself a lot of money on filter cartridges. Go on Ebay and look for “RINZ-N-REUZ A & B POOL FILTERS”.

Not a toy but works great for its purpose.
I have a 12×24x48 intex swimming pool and this pump replaced my 1500 gph pump. My pool is 5400 gallons and I must say this pump is definitely worth the money.

The previous pump lasted 2.5 years, this one is doing a good job so far.
This pump fits on the hose system provided with the pool and does a good job.
